Retail Projects

Sears RESCOM enjoys a strong working relationship with Sears, Roebuck and Company. We have worked on nearly one hundred separate projects for Sears at store locations all along the eastern seaboard. The management team at Sears counts on RESCOM to provide the services they need and to deliver them in the necessary timeframe. From full line store remodels to cash register relocations to renovations to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, RESCOM has gained a great deal of experience in retail design and development through this relationship.

Sears Jewelry Department RESCOM has been trusted with renovations and updates to several full line Sears stores in order to meet new corporate appearance standards. This work has included remodeling whole departments, such as appliances, shoes and jewelry, as well as individual displays. As part of an effort to relocate cash registers to more visible and convenient places, we were able to complete 38 projects in under one month including permitting and approvals. The projects were undertaken at stores located throughout all six states in the New England region. In order to help Sears achieve compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, we have worked on accessibility improvements to twenty different stores.

Sears Portrait Studio The Sears Licensed Business Program affords service providers an opportunity to sell their services from within Sears full line stores. Businesses such as watch repairs, portrait studios, vision centers and tax preparers are are typical of the participants in this program. Through this program, we have worked with several top companies including, Miracle Ear, H&R Block, Cole Vision Centers, and Gingis Formal Wear to renovate and freshen their Sears presence.
