New Second Level

| The owners of this oceanfront property needed more space, and because of the
local zoning and conservation laws their only option was to add a second level. RESCOM was
chosen to create a design for the new second level and renovations to the existing layout. The
plan for the new floor includes master and guest suites, each with its own walkout deck. On the
lower level, the existing bedrooms were converted into additional living space. We also added
several full length windows to augment the existing sliding doors and create a virtual wall of
glass to allow the homeowners to enjoy their views of the open ocean from anywhere in the home.

New Wing with Master Suite
|
| The scope of work on this project included the addition of a great room and a
complete renovation of the existing home. The addition was designed to visually integrate with
the angle of the existing structure. Because the home has ocean views to the rear, the new
great room and the master suite above have dual sliding glass doors that lead out to a patio
and a deck respectively. The great room also included a new fireplace with is flanked by a
built in entertainment center and built in shelves. Other details of the revised master suite
include a wet bar and a new master bath layout with a Jacuzzi.

Residential Makeover
|
| RESCOM was the project architect for a complete makeover of this estate home.
The existing residence was constructed as a reproduction farm house. Although the owners like
the charm of the farm house and wanted to preserve it, they also wanted a more functional layout
and all the modern amenities. An additional consideration was that the owners hosted a monthly
gathering with around 100 guests in attendance. To read more about how we achieved these goals

New Screened Porch
|
| This project consisted of adding a screened porch to the front of the home
and a small mud room on the side toward the rear. We tied the two enclosed areas together with
a small deck covered by a pergola. The new additions were designed to be consistent
with the architecture of the existing home.
